Remember your Dreams

Various theories thrive as why individuals dream and whether these dreams imply any meaning. Psyche preachers believe that when individuals are in lucid dreaming state, their sixth sense or the subconscious mind conveys some sort of messages. When individuals know that they are actually dreaming, the state of mind, body, and soul is termed as lucid dreaming. However, it is true that most of you do not remember your dreams.

Nevertheless, if you follow certain tips, you may memorize your dreams. The best to get started is to tell your mind that it will remember all the dreams next time. Keep saying this few times before sleeping. Thus, self-belief is the most important factor that will help you remember your dreams.

Important Tips:

1. Keep a writing pad and pencil beside the bed. Use this notepad only for writing down the dreams. People may also use a tape recorder to record whatever they saw in the lucid dreaming state.

2. Next, keep an alarm clock nearby the bed. If you sleep at 10pm, you need to set the alarm bell at 1am or 2am. It is because when you wake up in the middle of the night and go back to sleep again you will memorize your dream a lot better.

3. Paste a note on the alarm with words such as what you saw in your dream. It is useful because when you turn off your alarm, you will read these words and will try to recollect your dream.

4. If you are very exhausted due to your day's work, you may find it difficult to slip into lucid dreaming state and won't remember your dreams. Even very little sleep limits the quantity of dreams. So, make sure that you sleep for at least six hours daily, so that you can recollect your dream when you wake up.

5. Thinking about solutions to some problems, songs, or emotional matters before falling asleep will also help you to remember your dreams. Some claim that it is through lucid dreaming state they have found solutions to several problems.

6. As stated earlier, people may wake up one or two times at night to experience a lucid dreaming. However, people who have sleeping problems need not try this method. Instead, they may sleep throughout the night and try to note down their dreams the next morning as soon as they get up.

7. Researcher claims that if people take a short nap after getting up in the morning, they again go into lucid dreaming phase. This would help to memorize the dream.

Conclusion:

When a person is in lucid dreaming condition, he or she experiences numerous dreams in sequence. Moreover, when a person wakes up, he or she remembers their last dream. Therefore, to avoid this, you need to focus on one particular object so that your attention is not diverted after waking up from a lucid dreaming state. If you practice these techniques daily, you will be able to remember your dreams in no time. Good luck.
